Rhythm and Stealth is the original project of New York-based musician and producer, Lex Sadler. An accomplished bassist and synth bass player, Lex has toured nationally and internationally with numerous artists including Jordan Bratton, Blitz The Ambassador & Dana Leong, and has performed on The Late Show with David Letterman and Good Morning America with pop songstress Ellie Goulding.
Polytronic is the debut album. An eclectic mix of electronica, hip hop, samples, live instrumentation and drum’n’bass beats, Polytronic boasts a unique and fresh sound within today’s live music scene. Polytronic features guest artists such as Cory Henry, Nat Townsley, Ari Hoenig, Nir Felder, Brad Allen Williams, Yuki Hirano, Igmar Thomas, Kyla Moscovich, Alex Han and more.
Rhythm & Stealth’s live show combines electronic sounds and live instrumentation, and features a broad cast of New York’s finest musicians. On stage collaborators include Sydney Driver (drums), Raja Kassis / Matt Pedals / Adam Fallen (guitar), Paul Wilson / Yuki Hirano (keyboards), Abena Koomson / Kennedy (vocals), iLLSpokinn / Rabbi Darkside (emcees) and Alex Han (saxophone).
Lex Sadler is an Australian-born bass player, keyboard bass player, programmer and producer residing in New York City. As a sideman, Lex has toured both the US and internationally with artists such as Blitz The Ambassador and renowned Cellist/Trombonist Dana Leong. Lex is the bass and key bass player for upcoming R&B sensation Jordan Bratton.
Lex performed with ELIZABETH the Band as part of The Hennessy Artistry tour, alongside The Roots, Common, Queen Latifah and Q-Tip at Houston’s “The Corinthian” and New York’s “Terminal 5”. In 2012, he launched his solo project ‘Rhythm & Stealth’, with debut album ‘Twenty Three Seven’, a self-produced genre bending record that recalls the electronic sounds of the UK underground.
Revive Music (OkayPlayer) describes Lex as “equally nasty at electric bass, key-bass, and production”, and recently featured him on their website, The Revivalist.
Lex is a long time endorsee of Warwick & Framus, one of the world’s premier manufacturers of electric basses.
